Stuart Ray

BChD (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)

A member of the British Association of Microscope Dentistry and an associate member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

Stuart graduated in dentistry from the University of Leeds (1999) and is a strong advocate of high-quality, patient-centred care: “I take an old-fashioned approach to modern dentistry. I always place the patient first and get to know what they want from their dentist, alongside my commitment to making sure I’m up to date with my postgraduate education.” He will begin a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry in September 2017.

He has spent all his career in the north of England, including several years as the Clinical Director for the Centre for Dentistry, with responsibility for the training of young dentists at 25 practices. He continues his involvement in training with particular interests in restorative dentistry and aesthetic dentistry. His ethos is always to encourage his students to produce quality results and care for their patients in the best possible way.

Stuart brings a range of skills to Cottingham Dental Practice that, working together with Rob Nichols, is expanding the services we offer our patients.

Stuart is at the practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
