Robert Nichols

Rob is committed to developing a centre of excellence for private dental care at Cottingham Dental Practice. His experience and knowledge of different techniques and approaches inform his methods. He helps his patients access the best solutions to maintain their own teeth, before exploring the potential benefits of implants and dentures if needed.

Rob graduated in dentistry from the University of Manchester (1986), and is the first dentist in East Yorkshire to have a Masters degree in Endodontology from the University of Chester (2013) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology from the University of Central Lancashire (2015). He enjoys delivering workshops and lectures to dental colleagues in the Hull area.

"I love to see the positive effects that a successful course of treatment can have on a patient's life. I seem to be one of the few dentists I know with combined interests in endodontics and implants. My approach is about the balance of predictable and cost-effective solutions."

When he isn't working, Rob is happily rebuilding and restoring a TR 6 two-seater sports car and a 1978 Landrover.
